Emma WatsonBest known for her role as Hermione in the Harry Potter films, Emma Watson kindly responded to a letter from AYME’s celebrity correspondent in 2005 with the following:
Many thanks for your kind letter. I’d like to tell you a bit about myself for your magazine. I am now finishing filming the fourth Harry Potter film, ‘The Goblet of Fire’. I can’t believe we have been back in the studios for a year now and it is already coming to an end. The time has flown so quickly! I am back at school for the summer term, which I am really looking forward to, despite the truckloads of GCSE coursework. I can’t wait to see my friends again, although I will miss all the Harry Potter crew. We have had a really fun time making this one –we have a new director, Mike Newell, and there are lots of new cast members, so it has made every day different. I hope you all enjoy watching it when it’s released in November. A few things that are often asked of me: My age: I turned 15 this April My hobbies:I love art and sport – I play hockey, netball, tennis, table-tennis, rounders and sometimes a really bad round of golf. My favourite past-times:I adore the sun and love spending time with my family and friends. I really enjoy travelling to new countries. I love singing, dancing and of course, I love acting! My favourite music:I like a huge range of different music. I spend a lot of time just listening to the radio (Capital FM, if I’m in London, or Fox FM, in Oxfordshire). I love Eminem and I have really grown to like Nelly Furtado’s new album. In fact I like so much stuff I can’t name it all. My favourite films:Shawshank Redemption, Dirty Dancing, Gladiator, Braveheart, Grease, Pride and Prejudice, Amelie, Shrek 1 and 2, Finding Nemo, Four Weddings and a Funeral and Pretty Woman. My favourite snacks: TOAST! Smoothies, and recently the chocolate and cream Starbucks frappuccino. Article last edited on Saturday 01st August 2009 |
